I earned my Bachelor's degree at University of Washington, a double major in Psychology and Sociology. My first job after graduating was working in a treatment center, located in New Mexico, for sexually and physically abused children. Upon moving to Green Bay, I worked for Brown County Human Services in Economic Support for five years. This taught me about many local resources in the community. I then spent five years working for a major insurance company. I was in management in the Billing Department and Special Investigations. These roles taught me a lot about the insurance world, which has helped me immensely with navigating the Health Care industry. These skills have helped me to understand insurance plans coverage and how to review billing for errors, saving myself thousands of dollars.
I currently live in Denmark, Wisconsin with my two children and two cats. I have been a substitute Para Professional at the local school district for nine years. I enjoy reading, walking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
